The Perfect Proposal

Magic in air ... heart beats racing against time... Both know what's coming... but both of them are uncertain, nervous...

Que Sera Sera says the heart...

Lunch at their favorite hangout. It makes them feel things are just the same and will stay the same... Nothing , absolutely nothing will change, after all is said... They grow surer as they look into each other's eyes; acknowledging the spark... Eyes meet only to move away... Pretending to be confident ; fidgeting away with the tissue ... they cant seem to wait anymore and decide to go for a long drive ... the drive that brings their life on a fast-track.

He gifts her with her favorite chocolate... half the battles is won. She smiles and lets the feeling sink in only to see...

A bouquet of the world's most beautiful red roses filling the air with their fragrance. She dint know love smelled so sweet. She had heard of bouquets and kneeling down on knees only in fairy tales; being proposed to this way was only in her dreams... and now she could see magic... MAGIC happening to her...

No speeches, no lectures, no stories... just three words that swept her; off her feet - I LOVE YOU.

The conversation that followed was irrelevant... she had already made up her mind and he had already given his heart... He had done everything he could and all that she wanted.

The most precious moments are not that take your breath away with something magnificent... they are those moments in all their simplicity that put back breath in every part of your body.

Those words still ring in her heart and make it skip a beat... Those roses still smell sweet and their smell will linger on for the lifetime :) :) :)
